Copper futures were trading lower during the noon trade in the domestic market on Friday amid muted demand in the domestic spot markets and profit-booking by speculators.Marketmen attributed the fall in copper prices at futures trade to a weak trend in metals at the domestic spot markets coupled with profit-booking by participants.At the MCX, copper futures for August 2017 contract was trading at Rs 407.75 per kg, down by 0.91 per cent, after opening at Rs 409.25, against a previous close of Rs 411.50. It touched the intra-day low of Rs 407.25 (at 12:25 hours).
